Bimini's Oyster Bar and Seafood Cafe

If you like fresh seafood this place is for you. I had raw oysters and they were some of the best I've had in a while. The menu is endless and prices are moderate but you expect to pay for good fresh seafood.

1. Crab Cake, 2. Fried Shrimp 🍤, 3. Bimini’s famous fish basket, 4. Boiled Shrimp, 5. Shrimp Teriyaki Stir Fry 😍😋 I believe that this is the best restaurant at North Myrtle Beach. We loved it so much we went back on our last night here as well. We had the wasabi tuna (cooked perfect) grouper sandwich, key west style grilled and mahi mahi fingers. Best place in my opinion.

We had the steam pot and the conch fritters. All the food was tremendously delicious. No complaints at all. Service and atmosphere was top notch!

Absolutely awesome seafood, the price is right. Enjoy a delicious seafood dinner at the friendly bar, or sit with your family at a table. They also have a seafood market store that sells seafood and cool shirts and Bimini's attire.

We literally walked in about 5 minutes before closing, but we’re happily seated. This place is lively and upbeat. And our food...... DELICIOUS! I had the clam strips, they were fresh and truly hit the spot. When staying on the beach, you expect to eat fresh seafood! And this place did not disappoint! I highly suggest that you stop by, order some good ol’ seafood, and order a cocktail or one of the drink specials. I will definitely be back!!!!

This was my first time eating here with friends on our visit. I ordered fish & chips & it wasn't anything special. The menu said it was cod but I couldn't tell what it was b/c it was battered & slightly greasy. Had it been seasoned it might have tastes better however the atmosphere was relaxing. I'd give them another try.

An awesome place to enjoy down to earth seafood and local hospitality. The place was busy, but service and staff made the stay enjoyable. Friendly and attentive servers! We enjoy the Steam Pot along with other items from the menu. They have something for everyone...as long as you love seafood. 😎

Took awhile to get waited on, then long wait for food to arrive. When it did arrive, it was cold. Prices were high but it is the beach and tourist town. I wouldn't give a recommendation to anyone but I might give them another shot one day.

A very popular choice in Myrtle beach! The wait was worth it (1hr). The food was excellent, the service good and fast. It isn't a place for that romantic dinner, more of the sports bar vibe. Go casual, ready to roll with the music and the many food options. A fun place with a true beach feel!

Best grouper basket anywhere. Oyster shooters are fun, beer instead of vodka, served with a SLAM on the table. I’m a spice wimp, so I get mine without the jalapeño. Expect to wait.

You'd miss this place if you weren't looking. In two words: surprisingly amazing. In a small strip mall... it's unassuming, and jam packed on a Tues afternoon! Oysters (among many other items) on happy hour special. Easily $30 worth of oysters back home, here-$9 for half doz. Very large. Very fresh. Tasty peel and eat shrimp. It's a laid back, fun bar/restaurant. A must go for oysters in Myrtle Beach!

We went there with 2 other couples and had a great time and incredible food experience. I had the Grouper Key west style and my wife had the wasabi tuna. Both delicious and done exactly as ordered. The portions were stout but the tuna was very generous. Enough to fill her up and share with me!! We enjoyed it so much we went back 3 days later by ourselves and again it was incredible!! Staff was professional and fun at the same time. Awesome!!!

The place has been great for many years. If you love seafood, beer, and a casual place to relax and take in a ballgame and/or hear music with friends or family then this is the place for you. The quality of the shrimp, oysters, and crab legs is high. I am local but wish it was close to my house so I could go more often.

Busy, unpretentious restaurant with a local flavor, great seafood and very modest prices. Took my family there to avoid the seafood tourist traps and it was well, well worth it. The flounder was cooked really well, everything tasted great and the home-made chips were a nice touch. Service was quick and on top of things, although I can imagine there's quite a wait during busy hours. Watch out for a 6" drop in the parking lot, where the concrete meets the lawn.

Everything was delicious! Grouper basket, blackened scallops, sautéed shrimp, and a crab cake, with slaw, fries, & hush puppies. They know what they’re doing here!

Excellent date night here. Have been coming ti Myrtle for years and always meaning to try Bimini's based on reviews and recommendations. Was definitely not disappointed...delicious seafood and great service despite being swamped on a Sunday night. Full of families and couples like us, full bar...but not too hectic, just fun. They have great seating and good atomosphere. Will definitely return. Had a steam pot and fried fish both excellent

This place never disappoints! Today was oyster roast and a shrimp po' boy, and it was peefeperfe! The service was perfect and the oysters were huge, plump, juicy, and delicious! The Po' boy needed a sauce but it was so good you almost don't miss it. Go in the off hours for easy seating but always worth the wait .

Really loved the shrimp. Whatever they dip them in before frying is really good. My wife had the scallops.

Dive location with no frills but GREAT service and tasty food options. BEST hushpuppies I have ever had. Bloody Mary's were made in house and the option for grouper with fish and chips was nice to upgrade from the normal cod. Bathrooms were clean, everyone was friendly and location was easily accessible. Will def be back each and every time we visit the area!

Some of the best seafood I've had in North Myrtle Beach. Large roasted oysters and the shrimp were big and not over cooked. Hush puppies were awesome. You owe it to yourself to go there when in Myrtle Beach.

Absolute favorite place for dinner in myrtle beach. Best seafood anywhere. Very casual but the incredible food will blow you away.

Ordered shrimp platter, crab cake dinner and the fish platter. Also ordered a dozen oysters. First the oysters, they were a bit small. Normally when they are that small most places would give you a few extra. The shrimp platter was fresh shrimp and very good.The crab cakes were huge and also very good. Now the fish platter. OMG...the grouper was AWESOME. It was huge pieces and it was the best I have ever had. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place.

Nice atmosphere hole in the wall style. Some of the best everything; even the cocktail sauce was exceptional. Our waitress was fantastic. Be careful with Google Maps; cousin recommended, and Google Maps was the devil on this location.

Nice local atmosphere had a starter of the seafood nachos they were excellent. Followed it up with a order of shrimp for the wife and a combo scallops and shrimp for myself both were cooked perfectly the shrimp lightly breaded the scallops cooked right still slightly translucent in the center will visit here again on our next trip

Absolutely one of the best places to eat at. Very fresh tasting food and generous portions at a fair price. Amazing service, too. We will definitely make this place a regular spot from now on.

Found this place on Trip Advisor as one of the top seafood joint. They did not disappoint.

Probably not my first pick. Nothing I ordered seemed particularly special, but then again it's not at all a bad place for seafood. Possibly other plates have that wow factor.

Was good until I got home and seen my bill I know that I should have looked at it at the restaurant but was having guests from out of town but when I got home I was charged for the tip twice .I called hopefully they will fix it. Will inform you when I get results

I have eaten at Biminis for over 12 years, and the seafood is consistent. It's the best kept secret in MB. Steamed oysters in season are the best in MB. Order the Grouper bites, not on menu, comes with slaw only. I love this place. It's very crowded, long wait, unless you get there at opening time! Enjoy. Downside is noise volume, people having fun though!

I visited there during New Years. I was so glad I could finally find a place that wasn't a mega-buffet or calabash. I just don't eat that much. I was able to get a nice full meal and was satisfied with that. The grouper was very meaty and the sides were tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the take out side was just about to close, a lady (wish I had gotten her name) went ahead and took my order--making an extra effort to make sure I had the utensils and condiments that I needed. She didn't even know just how helpful she was. I am a diabetic and my blood sugar had fallen really low. My food came out hot and fast and with a smile although she was closing out. I didnt check my bag and didn't realize that I didnt get my chowder. I called and left a message. They called me back, apologized, and made things right. They welcomed me back for some great chowder the next time I'm in town. I look forward to visiting them again!

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything we had was in this restaurant was. These people know how to fry things. Absolutely fantastic food. What an awesome tartar sauce by the way. I love that a tub of it was on my table and I could eat as much as I wanted to without asking the server to bring me 5 of those small plastic cups. Oh I almost forgot. The hush puppies... addicting. What the heck is in those things?

I only gave Bimini's 5 stars because there weren't 3 more available. We love seafood and seek it out each time we get near the coast. This is the best we've EVER had!The place isn't very big and it's loud and chaotic as it could possibly be. Nothing even close to fancy here, except the quality of the food.Our meals included hush puppies and my wife was looking around on the table for honey to put on them. None found, so she took a bite. Her face lit up as she realized they were so fluffy and flavorful she didn't even want the honey anymore.We each had the Combo 2, which combines any 2 of the items from their favorites list. We each had scallops, then she had deviled crab and I had shrimp. Perfectly delicious all around. Awesome! Even the cole slaw was something special. I just can't say enough. Expect to wait as the locals pack the joint. But they serve drinks outside in the parking lot while you wait. Brilliant!

Excellent seafood restaurant. One of the best in town .Great service, the staff are very friendly. Atmosphere is family friendly with a bar and grill feeling. There is an outdoor eating area. Parking can be tight, so carpool if possible. Prices are great for the quality and quantity. I highly recommend. It's definitely a local favorite.

What a great little spot! This little bar was the highlight of our trip. Two great bartenders who were top notch, 7$ happy hour specials that are awesome including seared Ahi and spicy shrimp, and we made great friends with some local folks! This is a must on the list when you hit Myrtle Beach.

Atmosphere was cool. The parking lot was tiny so be prepared to put your best foot forward. Our server took his time getting to us so if you sit at the bar you will get service much quicker. The shrimp was awesome and happy hour gives you the opportunity to try several dishes inexpensively. Definitely try this place if you are in the neighborhood.

This is now my favorite raw bar. I got a steam pot, which came out in a huge roaster pan steaming hot. Everything was cooked perfectly! Crab legs, oysters, clams, mussels and large shrimp. So delicious. I ate at the bar and the bartenders were very attentive and friendly. I got a muddy oyster and they replaced it immediately. Hush puppies are excellent. Beer is cold and the selection is good. I will be starring Bimini's for my next Myrtle Beach trip.
